Is there an annual assessment?
Yes. The annual assessment of $150 per lot supports maintenance of the roads, snow removal, as well as professional services (e.g., legal, insurance, and tax and accounting) and administrative expenses (e.g., mailings). Paying dues in a timely manner gives the community the reserves necessary to address issues and the need for road repairs as they arise.

You may have seen email coming from Deer Rapids Road Fund Trustees (drrft22657@gmail.com). The board also intends to use the group email address to more frequently correspond to the membership. If you wish to be included in email communications, please send your email address to: drrft22657@gmail.com.
Is there a list of all the community members with addresses, phone numbers and email addresses?
There is, but in order to maintain member's privacy, we will be conducting a survey to update the list and ask members if they are willing to share their information. This will be helpful if you are a full time resident, and need assistance or in case of an emergency. If you are not, as a part time resident, this may be helpful if someone needs to contact you regarding suspicious activity on your property.
I want to get involved. How do I become more active?
Help keep up the community lots. For example, the picnic lots are always in need of general debris cleanup. Have a chain saw? Cut up fallen branches into log lengths for the fire pit.
